Sharon has worked in the insurance business for over twenty years. She has been instrumental in making Brown & Company one of the most respected brokerages in the region. Specializing in employee benefits, she concentrates on designing and managing cost efficient benefit plans including self-insured programs. Throughout her career, Sharon has focused exclusively on the needs of her clients. This dedication has earned her a loyal client base, with client relationships lasting an average of 15 years.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. She has also earned and maintained the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). In addition to working with clients, she has served on numerous charitable organization’s boards and continually works for the betterment of her community and industry.

Bryan P. Brown, CFP
managing director
Bryan has been with the firm since 2002. He has over 10 years of experience in employee benefits and individual life and health insurance. Bryan is responsible for new client development and ongoing oversight of health and welfare plans for employer groups of all sizes and industries. His focus includes insured and self-funded life, health, dental, and disability arrangements, as well as consumer-directed concepts such as Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Prior to Brown & Company, Bryan worked as a group representative for CNA Insurance Companies in Houston, Texas.
Bryan graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998. He has also earned the qualifications of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) through the University of North Texas. Community involvement is very important to Bryan, and he currently serves on many committees and boards.

Ron Gay

Ron joined Brown & Company in January 2009. He is a distinguished businessman, a community leader and an expert in employee benefits with over 23 years of health insurance experience in the Brazos Valley. Having Ron onboard solidifies our commitment to having a strong and experienced insurance team delivering outstanding service and innovative solutions to our clients. He serves the community through his church, the local Lions Club, and is a supportive Sam Houston State University alumnus.

Jennifer “Bunny” Pratt
Office Manager | Employee benefits | Sr ACCOUNT MANAGER
Bunny joined Brown & Company in September 2004 as a Marketing Specialist. Now, as the Office Manager, she coordinates staff schedules, conducts training activities, and serves as the IT director, overseeing websites, newsletters and other agency technology functions. She also continues her duties as an Account Manager, which means handling the day to day service and marketing needs of her clients. Her positive disposition, strong technical background and initiative serve the agency and her clients well each day.
Bunny graduated in 1995 with a BS from Texas A&M University. Bunny serves as a community liaison and is involved in many local organizations including the Bryan Rotary Club and Grace Bible Church-Midtown. She is married to Jason Pratt, a teacher at A&M Consolidated High School, and in her free time she enjoys reading, watching TV & movies and volunteering.

Amber joined Brown & Company in June 2012 as an Office Assistant. She was promoted to Individual Account Manager in August 2013. She now serves in a part-time role as an Account Coordinator. providing great administrative support to our team. Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughters. She is a graduate of Blinn College with an A.S. in Kinesiology (2007) and A.A. in Psychology (2011).

Hilary was an Industrial Coordinator for Workman’s Comp in Arizona before transitioning back to her home state to be closer to family. Hilary is a 2009 graduate at Sam Houston State University with a BA in Performing Arts. She enjoys dancing, sports, and quality time with her husband Charlie, an United States Army Veteran, and their daughter & son.

Colbee joined our team in July 2018 after re-locating to the Brazos Valley with her husband and children. She has many years of customer service from working in retail then in dental offices as a Licensed Registered Dental Assistant. She assists our clients with Individual insurance quotes and Medicare Supplement policy options. When not at work, she enjoys her kids sports leagues, photography and her horses.

Monique is involved with the Hispanic Forum of Bryan/College Station.
